After using the CES Framework, it is recommended to use the F/NF framework. Here’s a brief description of functional and non-functional frameworks in the context of systems, software, or product development:
🔧 Functional Framework
Definition: Describes what the system or product should do.
Focus: Core features and behaviors required by users.
Examples:

  • User authentication
  • Payment processing
  • Data entry and retrieval
  • Notification system

Key: It's all about functions, tasks, or use cases that fulfill user needs.

⚙️ Non-Functional Framework
Definition: Describes how the system performs or behaves.
Focus: Quality attributes that affect user experience and system performance.
Examples:

  • Performance (speed, responsiveness)
  • Scalability
  • Usability
  • Reliability

Key: It ensures the system is efficient, secure, and user-friendly beyond just working correctly.

To use the FNF Framework, students are asked to complete 2 columns:

  1. Functional – What is the main features?
  2. Nonfunctional—What is the feature that can improve product values?

Here the video introduction about F/NF Framework. At this time, it is only available in Bahasa Indonesia.
